This week, instead of writing a letter, I'm simply going to suggest you watch the HBO documentary Stopping the Steal. Better yet, have a watch party and discuss it with your friends. If you don't have HBO, find someone who does and suggest they have a watch party! You can bring scones.
I watched it last week and was riveted. It explains so much about how we have ended up in post-truth America. It also gives us ground to start digging ourselves out of the morass - assuming enough of us want to dig ourselves out. I'm increasingly afraid we don't, but am trying to keep that fear at bay.
